Brackenwood Ladies Golf Club

Brackenwood golf course is a gem in the heart of the Wirral. It is a municipal, parkland course with a par of 71. Wirral Borough Council contract holders are also permitted to play on three other municipal courses on the Wirral Peninsula.
B.L. G. C. Is hosting the Merseyside Municipal Open Championship on
Saturday 9 June 2012 when it is anticipated that over 12 clubs and
200 players will take part. A special afternoon tea in renowned
Brackenwood style and the prize giving will round off the event.
The Lady Captain for 2012 is Mrs. Bov Garrett.
We are a friendly group of ladies who meet every Wednesday morning for
18 holes of golf on booked tee times (Please see Annual Fixtures Link) and
at other times informally, during the week. The Club also makes available
9 hole competitions when required. Following the competition there is a
members’ social meeting in the clubhouse.
There is a one off Club joining fee of £55 and an annual subscription of £70
which includes competition fees. Members are required to pay a green fee
before playiing
Green fees are £13.00 for those under 60 years old & £7.50 for those over
60. a 5 day aannual contract of £235 is also available for those over 60.There are 7 day contracts of £550 & £290 respectively for those under &
over 60.
There is a membership ceiling of 55 members but at present there are a few
vacancies available.
